Time had no meaning for the Undying. That was until their entire race was thrust two-thousand years into the future. Their sacred text had been touched by evil. In order to protect the Undying, the humans under their care and the fate of the world, magic stepped in and carried the strongest of their kind to the dawn of the twenty-first century. Cell phones and cars were things they didn’t understand and living in a modern world was as difficult as killing a blooded Warlock.
Over the next two hundred years the Undying learned two things: The humans were stuck in a time loop only fixed as pieces of the fragmented book were found, and their enemies had grown stronger. They found modern jobs and built themselves vast empires of fortune and underground societies. When the Undying reached the point they could once again take their place as apex predators within the magical community, an odd thing started to happen. Life-bonds began to show up on top of each other. Now the males of their species must find a way to defeat the beings they were created to kill and find new ways to destroy those things which sprung up during their absence. Only the lucky and skilled will survive. The fate of the world depends on their luck…
