Emma Update
As you all know, I am still on break from the world of the Undying, but I thought I’d still post anyway. My current project, The Black Wolf, seem to in the process of a name change because of the content. So it may change to Guardian Wolf in the next few days. It all depends on if I get around to updating all the different places it needs to be updated this week or not. I am gearing up to start editing Undying Savage. I love Haven and Quinn, and I can’t wait to read them again. There is so much I’ve forgotten about their story, it’s unreal, but no matter how much I am drawn to start the editing, I will manage to control myself and wait until June to start the editing as planned.
Update on Warrior–and other things
I took an involuntary break from writing Warrior for a couple of days while I attended to other things that needed seeing to, but I’m back and ready to dive in again. Rachel has had enough of waiting and is starting to make my head hurt–she wants her Chad and she wants him now and I am not brave enough to keep her from him. I’m still working on Undying Love slowly, but it will probably take me a very long time to finish it, mostly because I am pretty sure they will rip my heart out before the end. In other things, I have been working on my website and catching up with friends, while Emma has started to play in the world of her Black Wolf series.
Absolutely Nothing!
What have I been doing in the world of the Undying, absolutely nothing and proud of it. I love the stories and the characters, but they had been eating up all my time. It’s nice to finally be able to take a breath and sit back for a little while. I will get into the editing at the beginning of June. I know I still have several more novels to write and a few short stories, but I really want to start marketing this series. I have to start somewhere, right? Might as well go with the best one I’ve got to date, besides, it is the first novels in the series, thankfully it won’t need too much editing. Eden is still working on Warrior, and that’s it on the Undying front from me.
Warrior and Love
I am enjoying working on Undying Warrior. I fell in love with Chad and Rachel the first time I saw them together, and every time we work on them, I fall in love with them a little more. I think their story will turn out to be a wonderful one. I’m also working on Undying Love, but that one writes slower, and though I’m starting to realize why, I’m not sure I can explain it without making myself sound nuts. I think these two will be one of those couples that I can write about forever, and if they have their way, I’m sure I will be. So those are my projects as of right now, and yes, yes, yes, I am the slower writer, though I’m not convinced that’s a bad thing. I know Emma wishes I would write faster, but neither of us woud be happy with the stories if I had to force them quicker than they were coming.
Heart Done!
I got Undying Heart written. I have five novels roughed out and two short stories since January 8, 2009. I think it is time for this writer to take a break – At least in the world of the Undying. In June I will begin the edits of Undying Savage. Since Eden is responsible for writing the bulk of Undying Warrior, I will continue to help her, but won’t require a lot out of me. I know, I am going to be a lazy writer this month, but I am pretty sure I have earned it. Eden should be posting her first update tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see what she thinks of writing this series with me.
Heart and Warrior
I am still working on Undying heart with Riordan and Nadia. They are either the slowest characters in my head, or I have too much stuff going onto write at the rapid pace I have been writing at. It’s probably some combination of the two. I am up to chapter 10 with them, and so the story could end at any time since it is only a short story. I know where I want the plot to go, so I just have to get it there. Eden is working on a revised chapter one for Warrior, after she gets that done, I think I need to get a little more stubborn about her getting chapters done. I want her to at least have one more story under her belt before we dive into the editing of any of these novels.
Beast Stalled and Heart is beating again.
The stall out for Beast finally happened. I got some cleaning done, and then I started working on Undying Heart and websites. We all need a little bit of a break sometimes. I’ve been going great guns since I started Undying Savage, and I end to slow down with this before my head bursts from all the pressure. Undying Heart should be an easy write, but, then, I worry a little that it will the story that will just keep growing and growing, lol. It will be fun to watch it develop. Eden and I decided to let the characters of Undying Challenge bake for a little longer, apparent they weren’t in the oven long enough to work right, lol. She’s picked up on Undying Warrior, another coauthored novel, and that one is running much smoother, so we are just going to go with it, for now
Working on Beast and other things
I am still plugging along with Undying Beast, but I think I need some kind of a break. This one is going to be heavier that what I usually write. The stall out is coming, but I am ready for it. I know what I am going to work on until I can get back to it. It will be Undying Heart to round out my three Wolf brothers, (Being Donovan, Wolf and Riordan), and if I am still not back into Liam and Dalya, then I will work on Undying Curse with Byron and Connie, it only makes sense that I do them, because that’s what I worked on with the stall out of Legend, I think. Anyway, Eden and I are also going to start one of the novels we are actually writing together. We are having some difficulty with the characters, but, we will get it worked out.
Undying Dragon is DONE!!
UNDYING DRAGON IS DONE!
It’s done, it’s done, I am so happy, lol, okay, it’s time to calm down. I got the last chapter yesterday, and it was so nice to read those THE END words to it. I’ve been waiting for a long time to get a story about Mica Dragan and Emma Rowan, and now, I finally have it. In other news, I also finished Undying Champion making my rough drafted novels since January a total of 5. That’s a lot of writing, lol. I started on Undying Beast, with Liam and Dalya. It’s tougher than I thought it was going to be, and I’ve already restarted it twice, but I will get it, and I expect a stall out like what happened with Legend, but I did get that one done, so I will get this one done, too
Working on Champion Still
I am still going strong with Undying Champion. I really am in love with Darius, I think, don’t tell my husband, lol. I’m not sure who I love more at this point, Darius or Donovan. I think I have awesome male characters, but, then, I think I am just a tad bit biased about it. The story is shaping up nicely, and I don’t think it will need that much editing when it’s done, which is a very good thing. Dragon is getting closer to being done. I am biting my nails in anticipation of the big ending. I can’t wait!
