When my grandfather died a few years ago, he asked that instead of sending flowers, people donated to their local humane society. Instead of donating, we got Zeke. His name was originally Hanz, but we didn’t think that name fit him, so we renamed him Zeke. It fits him so much better and he is MY dog. He follows me around everywhere, and is just the most adorable mixed up mutt I’ve ever had. I love my dog, and by his name, you can tell my kids do too. Zeke really is our hero.
