So my dad is part of a band. It’s Called rheme cleo. No I don’t know what it means, so don’t ask. It’s a group of 45ish to 55ish guys who play a bluesy rock. My dad plays Key board and a few other things like the sax. Anyway, Yesterday was Farmfest 2010!! (Sorry, I forgot to take pictures).

It’s basically all of their local family and friends. We have a hog roast and when the grub eating is done, we get to rock out with the band and few other local talents such as Rockin’ Ray. The best way to describe it is a kid friendly keger. No, seriously, they have enough booze to get a herd of pachyderms intoxicated, but everyone remains friendly and respectful (We won’t count the beer pong players and their silliness.)

The kids had a blast even with this year’s movie being Alice In Wonderland (The new one. We saw it at the theater and the kids didn’t like it.) The most excited thing of the day was Pink’s cookies running out. She was so cute. As soon as she realized we were going to the Sold Out Farmfest 2010 show of rheme cleo, she found a cookie recipe online (This is my child with reading disabilities), hounded me about getting the all the ingredients, and the put it all together for the party. They were kind of like sugar coma in a cookie, but they were good and everyone loved them. I was so happy to see all of her efforts didn’t go to waste, though I was a little worried. So all in all, we had a good day and Phoebe got a huge ego boost because everyone loved her cookies.
